Moving into wedding photography in Durham was an easy decision for me to make, as I love the creativity of photography and meeting new people. This has always been a passion of mine, and it's great to be able to make a living from such an enjoyable hobby. We strive to provide high quality and consistent sets of wedding photographs and the passion we have for "capturing the emotion of the day" comes through in our photographs. A comment we often get from clients is how well we blend in on the day, we do our best to work quickly and with minimal fuss to ensure that you can enjoy your special day.
I grew up on the outskirts of the beautiful City of Durham and then spent 5 years living in The Lake District, where I met my wife Alison. We married in June 2006, and on our honeymoon we made the decision to move back to Durham, as we love the city and want to spend our lives in the North East.
Alison accompanies me to most weddings as the second photographer - which allows us to be in two places at once and to capture more special moments during your wedding day. Alison also designs our albums and is the main digital photograph editor.
We have taken photographs across many different genres; sports / action, landscapes and of course portraits / groups. Our real passion is working as wedding photographers and capturing a "moment in time".
All our photographs are taken using the latest Canon digital photographic equipment. We also carry a number of ivory golf umbrellas, so should the weather not be on our side we can still get outside for some photographs.
We're friendly and approachable, and will work with you and your wedding guests to ensure we take high quality and stylish wedding photographs.
